Golden Curry Roti
Golden Curry Rotis are our vibrant superfood spin on the Indian breadbasket staple, crafted with a special blend of whole wheat and whole grain durum flours for a good source of gut-healthy fiber. Vibrant, earthy turmeric, maple-scented fenugreek leaf and a touch of umami-packed asafoetida create an alluring flavor reminiscent of a mild, buttery and balanced Indian curry.
Traditional Roti are made with a labor-intensive, rustic lamination technique that creates thin, flaky, sauce-loving layers in the dough. Our proprietary flours maintain the irresistibly toothsome chew we love without the need for gums, fillers or overly-processed and modified starches.
Cooked on an iron tawa, or Indian skillet, each Roti will blister and puff like a glorious bread balloon, leavened only with hot air—no baking powder, soda or yeast.
For a more supple dough, we chose non-GMO avocado oil for its neutral, buttery flavor, heart-healthy balance of unsaturated fats and ultra-high smoke point.
